I am due to arrive to the US tomorrow and we'll be moving into a new apartment this weekend. Since we are not filing for AOS for another month, do we immediately notify the USCIS a change of address or do we just notify them when we apply for AOS?

Yes, you should notify them so that they know its either by phone or by online.If online use the form AR-11(Change of Address) and they will email you a confirmation letter that they received it but maybe its better if you will call just like what i did.

TIMELINE

K-3 VISA:

EAD:

04.20.2009 : Received Date

05.05.2009 : Received NOA from USCIS

07.28.2009 : Biometrics Appointment

08.04.2009 : EAD Card REceived in mail

AOS:

02.22.2010 : Mailed AOS Application via USPS Express Mail

02.23.2010 : Received date (Chicago Lockbox)

03.02.2010 : Received NOA

03.25.2010 : Biometrics Appointment

05.14.2010 : Interview [Passed!!! Yahoo! Thank God :)]

06.12.2010 : Green Card Received

Yes, you should notify them so that they know its either by phone or by online.If online use the form AR-11(Change of Address) and they will email you a confirmation letter that they received it but maybe its better if you will call just like what i did.
