I was told that fedex could not overnight to a PO Box and the vermont service center address has a PO Box. I had to use USPS priority mail and it took 3/4 days. Is there a quicker way? I have to resend my application on Monday ( got sent back the first time ).

I used USPS Express Mail. It's flat rate at $17.50 plus the green return receipt $2.20 = $19.70. I know someone here is going to argue it's a waste of money but it guaranteed next day before 3pm delivery. You can sign up for email update and signature proof on USPS. Fedex/dhl/ups don't deliver to PO box, so the express mail was the only choice. Hope that helps!

That is what we used, both times, it gets there the next day and you can track it. I think it is well worth it for the piece of mind and knowing that they got it.

Am going to try it on Monday...I need it there before friday!

If you mail your application via USPS Express Mail Service (EMS), I'm sure it will get to its destination before Friday, under normal circumstances. No worries there. It's guaranteed overnight. I've used EMS so many times and I've yet to encounter a problem.

Check the addresses for field offices. They have both regular USPS (mail) addresses as well as addresses used for Couriers (Fedex etc.)

I've always used couriers because #1: Fast, overnight, #2 ability to track online.

Probably cost around $10.00-15.00 depending on weight of the package, but gives peace of mind.

Per I-751 instructions,

If you live in Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, U.S. Virgin Islands, and West Virginia, file with the Vermont Service Center at:

USCIS Vermont Service Center

75 Lower Welden Street

P.O. Box 200

St. Albans, VT 05479-0001

I've yet to hear from someone who sent an application recently to a field office for his/her I-751 application, when the instructions clearly tell you where to submit it. I remember using the field office for courier delivery (I used FedEx) for my husband's I-485 a year ago, the information was of course provided in the instructions. We are talking about I-751 here. Why would anyone risk losing their file by not following the instructions to a T? To the OP, read the advices given but use them with caution and common sense.

And no, FedEx and UPS do not send to PO boxes, from my experience.
