:rofl::rofl::rofl: That is hilarious! We always talk about ER and Grey's Anatomy and how unreal they are, but the drama is still off the chain either way.

I've heard those medical shows are so unreal and my cousin who is a CSI tech told me my CSI's are so fake too. You know I argued her up and down like no there not. LOL

Question of the day!!!

Do grown men still take trips with the boys to different islands?

Please give me your thoughts.

I think that couples need time together and time apart - My brother in law will go for golf or fishing weekends with his buddies - My sister has taken spa weekends with her friends - I think that the couple needs to decide for themselves if it is okay - Personally, it would depend on my comfort level with his friends, if it was a once in a while thing, and that we had talked about it all before hand -

Sus - Let's say...it's a yearly trip that the college friends take. They always hang out at home so it's not like they don't see them all the time. And all have a history of cheating.

So my next question would be....would you plan a "girls" trip to the same place at the same time?

Morning all!

Sus, so it seems we may be in the Negril area around the same time.....perhaps we'll have to arrange a meeting??

Ells, definitely - I will be in Negril either the 24th or 25th (depending on stuff w/ DJ) until the 27th at NBCC

Sus I am still holding out hope that things are worked out and you guys still get married.

I am hoping things work out too, Dillon - but getting married is NOT gonna happen on this trip - he has too much to prove to me before I could look him in the eyes and promise to love, honor, cherish,..... for the rest of my life.

what? no mahogany beach wedding :( ?

A yearly college friend trip I wouldn't have a problem with - But a history of cheating would be a bigger problem, and one I would evaluate more than the trip. Taking a girls trip to the same place at the same time would be spying and setting up for catching them cheating - unless I wanted that, I wouldn't do it - sounds like the issue is not the trip, it's the trust.

Nope

Me personally I just don’t se the sense in all grown males planning a trip to a island?? I mean for what?? See us girls we are different. Guys to me they only thing they would want to do on an island is drink and jook.. If I’m not there to jook then who the heck are you jooking?? Like I’m not sure they would really roam the island like we do. I can see them chilling at a resort and how much fun would that be after a while I think they would get board. No my sweetie cant plan a trip to no island. I think that is asking for trouble. Now being that mines is from one cool if he wants to return to his I’m o.k. with that because he has family and friends I’m sure he wants to see just not to another island?? Naw I’m not feeling that at all and no I wouldn’t plan a girl trip to the same island at the same time because then we would be together. I agree couples do need to separate every once in a while. I know I love my girls trips plus I can trust myself. LOL If he wanted to go fishing or golfing cool I wouldn’t even mind a trip to Las Vegas guys do those things but not to an island nor a cruise..

Just my 2 cents…

Morning All...

I was trying to see if I was wrong for telling my friend that her booking a trip to Cancun with the 1. Ex girl friend of one of the guys 2. The on and off again girlfriend and herself. She preceeded to tell me that she was upset that the girls wanted to pay an extra $300 dollars to be further away from the guy's hotel and she didn't agree. She wanted to stay at the one that's across from the guy's hotel. She was on a budget..and the other girls wanted to stay in a nicer hotel. I can't fault them for that. I get that way sometimes....

And two years ago...she wanted me and her to go there too? Of course I was like, if I'm taking any trip it will be going to Jamaica to see my honeybun. Sorry. Do you really think I am going to go to Cancun and basically chase after your boyfriend the whole trip. It's crazy. I could understand if the guys were like let's do a couples thing...but for them to book their package after the guys...it seems fishy. I know her...in college she would follow him throughout the whole club and if he was dancing with someone....bwoy..she was ready to go home.

Dada, that's a trust issue - You state you can trust yourself - would you take a trip to Vegas with the girls? What if your SO liked casinos? It wouldn't be an issue of where they wanted to go - it's a bigger issue in this situation- I have guy friends that will take a trip to the islands or to Mexico together - cause they like to fish and drink, or surf - or are beach bums, etc...

Gill, make a color photocopy of both sides of the card and laminate it back to back - I did that with my friend's GC and she carries that in her wallet, the real one is safely locked up.

So like Sus said its not the trip its trust.. With her having to follow him around all the time she really must not trust him.
