Can anyone help me? I am a naturalized US citizen. I am engaged to a woman living abroad. We are trying to figure out which is easier. Do we file I129F Finacee petition and then marry here in the US or do we get married abroad and file I130? She also has two children from a previous marriage and the father has already legally consent to the children coming to live with us, so that is not an issue. I also understand that if I file I130, I will have to file a seperate form for each member whereas the I129F can include her and the children, so cost wize it is more expensive to file I130. But with that said....I130 does allow her to enter the US and be able to work immediately and we wont have to file for a change of status immediately. So....which route is best? Safest? Fastest?

I-129f will cost more in the long run as they have to adjust status when the get to the US. Check the I-485 form. I-130 is a bit slower but WAY better in the long run as they all will get their GCs ans SS card in the mail within a month of arriving in the US. Yes she can work {when she gets her GC]. K1 will take at least 4 months to get a GC. Some are still waiting after a year.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
