Proof of Name Change in I-130?

Hi,

I will become a USC soon (hopefully) and I will sponsor for my parents. I made a First name change in my N-400 Application for Naturalization.

When I look at I-130, it asks for proof of name change.

If my US Certificate (with new First name) is not enough to satisfy this "proof of name change", What documents do I need?

If you're married and changed name then provide a copy of it. if you filed for name change on your n400 application then it will reflect on your nat certificate. it comes along a certified copy of your petition for name change which you signed during your interview. the new name is effective the same day you had your oath. they will satisfy the name change you're asking. those are the docs that satisfy your name change if different from your BC.submit copy of those.
