one year I 94 expiration date?

I have three questions:

Does anyone know how to get this corrected after the fact? My wife entered on a K3 and her I 94 was stamped with a one year expiration.

How can we get it changed to 2 years?

Second question is if she plans to leave and re-enter multiple times over the next two years, does it matter that the current I 94 expires in one year?

Should we bother to get it corrected?

Third. Is there a new I 94 expiration date issued each time she enters the U.S.?

Let's say for example, you enter today and receive I 94 date stamped for March 26, 2009. You decide to leave a month from now and return again in a few months. Would you receive a new I 94 stamp on your next visit? Or, does the March 26, 2009 date take seniority over the VISA validity date.

Was the visa itself issued for two years?

I would think that, when she leaves the US for a while, she will have to hand in the white piece of paper with the I-94 on it, as is also customary with the green I-94 while travelling on the VWP?

It actually says at the back of the I-94: "surrender this permit when you leave the U.S."

So I assumed that, upon return, she would have to fill in another white card and get a new I-94 stamp.

But maybe that is not correct.

Can you contact USCIS at POE to inquire about this (of course calling CIS and getting a useful answer is easier said than done) or make an infopass appointment to get it straightened out?

YES, the visa was issued for two years. So no problem there.

I have called USCIS and have been confirmed that she will receive a new I 94 date for each entry. The POE officer will stamp a date as they see fit.

The K3 remains a multiple entry visa with time allowed in the US determined by the POE officer. This can be anywhere from weeks to two years from date of entry.
