letter for tax filing please review

I am ready to mail out my I-864 packet.

I am writing a letter explaining why i didn't file taxes in 2007. Can you please give your opinion? Here's what I have.

I am writing this letter to explain 2007 tax filing. In September 2006 my wife and I traveled to XXX to care for my ailing father. He was paralyzed and required constant care because of which I did not have a full time job. Attached is a photocopy of my entry and exit stamps to and from XXX.

I did not file taxes in 2007 because my gross income for year 2007 was below the tax filing threshold. However I have instead attached my tax statements from year 2005 and 2006 along with 2008. Please note that I returned to USA in October 2008 therefore my 2008 tax return represents only three months of salary.

Looks good, I would just change around the valid points a bit. The only reason I would suggest this is that they probably just skim read haha.

my 2006 shows my foreign address

my 2005 is old because they only allow three years.

Should I include these at all?
