We applied for AOS in November of 2008. A few weeks after we submitted the applications we received a biometrics appointment. We have since received the EAD and AP. We were notified that our case had been transferred to CSC. Yesterday we received a second biometrics appointment. Is this typical before the CGC is issued? Thanks

It is typical to get the biometrics appointment for the GC and also for the EAD. In our case we got the green card first and then received an appointment letter for the EAD. Go figure. I called and they said to disregard. If the second letter you received was for the GC, then you better go to it.
