Hello guys :) Our anniversary is on April 12, 2009. We wanna take a vacation to Bohol and celebrate. We found a 4 day/3 night Package tour.

Can anybody recommend a travel agent or a resort that wont cost a lot?

My wife is from Bohol and we have stayed at the Panglao Beach Resort (I think that's what it's called). It was about $18 USD per night for a room within walking distance from the beach. We also hired a tour driver to take us to see tarsiers, the worlds largest python snake, a Lobuc River Cruise which included a lunch buffet and the Chocolate Hills. The tour cost about $50 USD. I hope those ideas help. Enjoy, Bohol is a beautiful place, I will be there myself in late april to help my wife prepare for her trip to the US :)

Hey girl! i'm going to be in Bohol around that time too for a vacation.. but not with hubby, will tour a friend who is also an american together with other friends. :-).. who knows maybe we will be at the US embassy at the same time also.. haha!..

05-09-2008 - Recieved hard copy of NOA2

05-16-2008 - Recieved the AOS Fee Bill with Manila Case number

05-18-2008 - Sent Choice of Agent via email

07-29-2008 - Recieved IV bill from the mail

09-10-2008 - Paid the I864 bill and IV bill

09-16-2008 - NVC mailed the Instruction packet agent to my hubby

09-28-2008 - Received hard copy of the instruction packet agent

09-29-2008 - Received the I864 packet

03-02-2009 - Hubby sent the I864 and DS230 to NVC

03-06-2009 - NVC received I-864, under review

03-10-2009 - NVC received DS230, under review

03-13-2009 - I-864 complete, still reviewing the DS230

03-19-2009 - Under NVC final review, the operator told me that i need to redo my DS230

03-23-2009 - CASE COMPLETE!!!

03-25-2009 - GOT A MAY 7 INTERVIEW!!!

03-26-2009 - received appointment letter from NVC through email

03-31-2009 - 1st day Medical

04-01-2009 - 2nd day Medical. PASSED!

04-02-2009 - NVC sent docs to USEM

05-07-2009 - USEM Interview.. VISA APPROVED!!!

05-12-2009 - Finally got my VISA!!!

wow! that's a great place......i assure you,you will really enjoy it! Im sorry I dont know any agent that cost a little less expensive, I think due to upcoming holidays, they will be a lttile epensive.

My hubby and I went there last september,and its an off peak season, it costs us P26,000 its a 4days-3nights package, including the airfare (and yeah, we stayed for another night...)

I'm just giving you a estimate on how much you can budget (but that was off peak season) this months are peak season...so better go to a travel agent now and reserve. Go for Cebu Pacific,its a lot cheaper than PAL. or surf the net and see all airline promos.

Hurry! hurry! Enjoy!

Did you go to a travel agent? or just to Panglao Beach resort for that price?

Nope, we did everything on our own. The room rate at Panglao was a walk-up last minute rate during the month of May. You might be able to inquire on the internet. Do a google search for Bohol Panglao, maybe they have a number you can call. I'll ask my wife and see if she can recommend anything for you. :star:
