Yay! Though it may not stay this way for long, Vermont Service Center is reporting a 6 months processing timeframe. That means if anyone here has filed at VSC prior to September 16, 2008, you are out of the processing timeframe. As suggested on the site:

If the receipt date shown on your receipt notice is prior to the processing date shown below, you may call USCIS Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283.

I hope there are not too many of you out there, but if this is you, please call and find out.

Better than seeing "March 6, 2008!"

I tried it yesterday and got an automated message (called after the official hours 8am-6pm). Since we had a RFE, they are saying we'll hear from them within 60 days... 3 weeks to go yet to reach 60 days. Also they said that their customer service staff doesn't have any additional information regarding our status. I'm planning to phone as soon as they open. Can't lose anything at this point.

I agree with you, I can't see VSC the 6 months processing times window so anybody over that should call and pester them. Make their lives hell as they are making ours.
