HI again everyone, I submitted my documents for my AOS July 2008, and said its on a 6 months time line. Got my biomentrics done August 2008 and moved here in Nevada November 2008 in which we submitted all the documents needed for the Changed of Address. Got another NOA after a week of submitting my change of address form. its been 8 months now and we didn't hear anything yet from the National Benefits Center. I made an infopass appointment March 11, 2009 at Las Vegas Office but it didn't help. They can not track it down, they can not say anything about what is going on with my paperworks. They only said that we need to send a letter to the National Benefits Center, and so I did sent them a letter March 12, 2009. Me and my husband were just hoping that they will give us answer about my AOS. He is going overseas for work and he wants me to go with him but I can't since I dont have my Green Card yet. We are hoping that by the time he gets back home for a 2 weeks vacation after 6 months I will get my Green Card by then. If not I was thinking of keep sending the NBC a follow up letter so they will make actions into my AOS. Now I am stuck here at home alone .. and it does SUCK! :crying::(

That is really weird. It has been long time actually. If I were you

I would call NBC @1-800-375-5283 & ask about my application progress,

why it is taking so long, also make sure that they have your new address on their file not the old one.

Sometimes they don't update it !....

I agree, call the 800# and explain the situation. You will need your A# when you call. Good luck.

You may want to fill in your Timeline and your country. It will be helpful to others to answer you questions in the future.

I did called NBC today and they told me that my documents is already at Las Vegas Office and mentioned about -62 days? what is that suppose to be mean? I will wait for their reply with the follow up letter I sent them last week - if I dont hear from that I will gonna send a 2nd follow up letter to NBC. My husband and I were really concern about my AOS - the last update is November 26, 2009 when I changed address from San Diego, CA to here in Pahrump, NV. They have my new address I am guessing since I got another NOA from them with my new address in it. That is really weird, its been 8 months we've been waiting for my interview or my green card and I didn't hear anything yet. How I wish this will be done very soon for me to go with my husband overseas - it is tuff for both of us apart but we can't do anything right now unless they will issue me the green card .. IT IS REALLY FRUSTRATING!
