So here I am. I have been traveling to the philippines for the last 3 years and meeting different women. Well I finally met the right one for me. I am going to begin the process this coming week and I hope the process will go smooth. I will begin to search the forum now for information but I welcome any input from veterans of this process. I am very exciting about getting started and know that it can be challenging. Thank you and I look forward to chatting.

I suggest you read the Guides above. Get the forms from USCIS website and read and read the instructions. Read through other posts to see what they did and their questions. Start getting all the information and pictures together. Check this site for how to assemble your package. Ask questions when you have done the above. Good luck on your journey.

Common Knowledge is Philippine Woman are considered the Most Beautiful Woman in the World, as you probably know by now.

Over all Easy Process. K1 Visa procress in PI is pretty easy and quick, You are looking at a 4 to 6 month window from Submission to Approval

Go to PI forums and it has all the neccesary paperwork you and your fiance need to collect.

Good Luck

PM me with any question if you need extra help....

Good idea to have your lady get NSO CENOMAR and NBI clearance in case there are problems. She'll need them later anyway. Have her get checked for TB also as if she has it it can be cured before the St. Lukes medical saving you guys a 6 months delay.

Also if there is any chance of her being HIV positive have her checked also.

YEAH I sound cold and calculated but I've been thru it ALL.

Hello! Im from the Philippines. I just received a letter from the US Embassy letting me know that I am eligible for an interview and call them for an interview appointment. However, I haven't received the packet(checklist). Do I still need to wait for the packet to arrived first or I must call them and have my appointment first? or and how long it usually take?

Thanks!

You do not need to wait a checklist. Your letter from embassy is your checklist read the instruction carefully and there is a part of it that says you need to log in a particular website to print and fill up your forms that you need to bring during your interview.

I hope this will help you coz i've been through these last year. ;)

"Common Knowledge is Philippine Woman are considered the Most Beautiful Woman in the World, as you probably know by now."

What a dumb statement. That is strictly a matter of opinion and taste.

There are beautiful women ALL over the world.

Men just go to the Phillipines because the pretty women there are very easy to get for old, fat or young, dorky Americans. Now THAT'S Common Knowledge.

:hehe:

Hi I got a letter from embassy for eligibility to schedule for an interview... THERE ARE SOME MAIN CONCERNS I'M QUITE CONFUSED:

1. DO I STILL NEED TO PASS A POLICE CLEARANCE ASIDE FROM THE NBI CLEARANCE?

2. AND WHAT ARE THE USUAL QUESTIONS DURING k-1 INTERVIEW??? Thankss... Can you give me some tips??? :help:
