K-3 Adjusment problems

My wife and I have already filed for adjustment of status (form I-485) and it was rejected on the basis of "Invalid Part 2 Application type Other basis of eligibility". We checked the other box and stated that she entered on a K-3 visa and we had enclosed a copy of our marriage certificate. I am reading through the choices but I have gone cross-eyed trying to figure it out. Does anyone know which category are we suppose to check.

K-3 checks "A" because they are adjusting based on their approved I-130, and attach a copy of I-130 NOA2 letter.

What if you never got an NOA2 letter for your I-130 ?

I got 2 letters in the mail from the NVC with the AOS application and DS-3032. I think that means I'm approved going on to the next step, but I never received an actual approval letter ...

Several have indicated that they look up status on USCIS.GOV, and if their I-130 indicates approved, they simply printout the webpage, and attach it to the petition. Again K-3 AOS is based on the I-130 that is in process or approved.
