Hi All,

We where approved for I-130 and I-129 at the same time, we received an interview date for the I-129 from the embassy, I asked for a reschedule and they gave me a new date (next week), but unfortunately due to some paper work delay my I-130 will not be approved by next week. Can I just write them and say that I would like to cancel my I-129 appointment and wait for my I-130 interview date?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Contact them again, and ask them to reschedule the interview 1 month from now.

Can I reschedule twice with no problems?

I believe so, if asked you can always tell the consular you are waiting for your CR-1 case to catchup.
