Hi everyone.

It's pushing about two months now since my fiance received my notice saying that my case was sent to the London Embassy.

I've called the NVC several times inquiring about our case status, and the only thing I know is that while London has received the case, nothing has been sent to my fiance.

Is there an email address for the embassy in London so that my other half can see what's going on, or is he going to have to call the numbers that cost around a pound per minute?

Just would like to know because it seems as though not much has changed since the last piece of correspondence I received, my guess is that it's still sitting in London waiting to be processed. I would like to know when to send my half of the application (hopefully soon) but who knows?

Cheers

Be aware that their call line is expensive - the email is LondonConsular@state.gov

they are taking a few days / 1 week to respond.

Hey Jaylen...

In your timeline it says that on 24 Mar the case was sent to London...did you get anything other information to keep you afloat after that? And how did you know it was sent to London? Did you call NVC or email, etc?

Arrghhh...I'm so worried about this because I REALLY don't want things screwed up!

I think you should call or e-mail London and inquire about your case.

Perhaps packet 3 was sent out to the wrong address?

We were approved after you and we already received packet 3(as did several others going through London).

Good luck and hope you hear something soon!

Definately get in touch with them...they told me that they had sent mine out when really they hadn`t. They are a little slow at responding to emails at the moment ..i would call them for sure, even though it is expesive they will only keep you on the line a minute or two. The email address is Londonconsular@state.gov

I think I did email NVC, who had told my fiance over the phone they had no record of my case - they replied to me by email about a week after I inquired, saying it had gone to London already - the date it went was about 4 days BEFORE my fiance called when they said they didn't have it

After that I decided not to email London, cos I had a feeling they'd say the same thing..and I'd either get panicky or filled with false hope..and having gone thru CSC with all the waiting I didn't want the stress of 'when, when, when' again..life is just TOO SHORT! lol

As it turned out I got packet 3 fairly soon (about 2 weeks I think) after they (London) got it.

BTW I double checked the email I posted and it IS correct - I copy pasted directly rfrom a reply they sent me, LondonConsular@state.gov unless there's been a recent change in the last 3 weeks.
