Im filling out the DS-160 and it asks for my Passport Number, which I know what that number is but then it asks for the Passport Book Number (or Control number as it is sometimes called) Now there are two other numbers that could possibly be the "control" number: One on "page 3" with a barcode underneath it and the other is under my photo and stuff is another series of numbers... so which one is it?

Thank you so much for posting this. I have been trying to find this info for a week, and am not having any luck with the Canadian Passport web site.

Yep. In a Canadian passport the "Book Number" appears on the third page in the top right hand corner.

Nice username, i'm Denver bound as well

And by 'top' right, do you mean if you are looking at the passport with your photo facing you? Because if you hold the passport the way the cover is displayed (so it flips left/right like a book instead of top flip), then it's bottom right, vertically... hahah But yeah, it's the number that is right by the bar code, on the Canadian passport. Correct??
