If price of crude oil is dropping, why is cost of gas rising?

Sure. People tend to search for an "in depth analysis" of why they are getting screwed at the pump. Simple answer, the oil companies can and will charge what they want... Analyze that...

Paying $4.30 a gallon for gasoline never bothered me, could finally drive someplace without encountering a zillion traffic jams.

What really pisses me off and I seldom use that word, is that our domestically produced natural gas and electrical rates have increased at the same rate as gasoline and even with the decreased cost in gasoline, they still are way up there! These two utilities have more than doubled in price over the last two years!

I have written to my congressman, senator, governor, and the president asking why is this, even several times, dead silence, what in the hell is going on?

Another thing is that with increased transportation energy the price of everything went up, just as one small example was paying 29 bucks for a bag of dog food, that shot up to 42 bucks, was told due to the price of diesel fuel. Well the price of diesel fuel came down over a couple of months ago, but the price of that dog food only came down two bucks. Still a long way from that 29 buck figure.

Only hope is that these bastards that are screwing the hell out of us get an Aids infected ####### with our money, and die from it.
