i have few questions:

1. when the NVC sent it to manila embassy how long the manila embassy will received it?

2. how should we know that the manila embassy already received it ? do they send me letter ?

3. wondering wen you calll the first time for appointment how soon will they schdule you for the interview.

Do they will schedule for interview right away or they will schedule you for medical exam.

in our case it took a week to get to budapest, hungary....so expect at least a week time

2. how should we know that the manila embassy already received it ? do they send me letter ?

the embasy sends the beneficiary a packet(commonly called packet 3) of papers containing instructions on what to do next.

You do not call for appointment....the packet sent to you by the consulate will explain what to do, but your interview date/time is appointed by the consulate and you're notified via letter, of this.

Do they will schedule for interview right away or they will schedule you for medical exam.

The medical exam will have to be completed before the interview happens.

Our just took 7 business days to get to the Manila Embassy. It arrived on the 4th of Feb. The embassy packet you can download already from the USEM website but it is also sent to the SO in Phil from the embassy. I called the embassy last night and they said it would take about 4 days from receipt of the file from NVC until it was shipped to my wife. Then once your in the database at the embassy you can clal for the medical. The medical is first come first serve.

I have been watching interview dates lately and currently they have been handing out ones late Feb to early March.

2. how should we know that the manila embassy already received it ? do they send me letter ? the USEM IN MANILA will sent you a letter thru AIR 21... TELLING YOU that you can schedule your interview

You will know at the very moment you get connected with the VISA CENTER CALL CENTER whether you call in Manila or Us coZ you will be the one choosing the date and if that date is available then it will be your interview date

Do they will schedule for interview right away or they will schedule you for medical exam.the visa center call center will schedule your interview depending on YOUR PREFERED DATE .. Medical you just go ON YOUR OWN. at the st Lukes' clinic at least 1 week before your interview date
