Hello Fellow Vj'ers,

I am here needing your help again. Moths ago I posted here a topic concerning what we have to do to get my kids in the Philippines, and ppl here said my husband being the USC can file an I-130 for my kids being the step parent, right?

I am here on a K1 visa and is now an LPR. What i have read on the Guides here about I-130 is what made me confused . My question is ;

1. what do we have to fill up?just the I-130 ?What is this I-130 with Adjustment of Status? Is this also an I-130 with I-485 application for my kids?

what i am saying is..if we submit the I-130 do we need to also file the I-485 at the same time?Pls. i really need your help. thanks a lot for any reply.

Hang on... Were your kids named on the I129F petition? if yes, then your kids will have the K2 derivative status and will have 1 year follow to join. If they were not mentioned, then it's a different story.

Yes my kids were supposed to be K2 follow to join but it's been more than a year since then ,reason why we have to s tart all over again by having my hubby file an I-130 for my kids. So we need the I-130 application ,right?
