I already have a Visitor visa and was ytaing in the states for 6 months with friends. A friend of mine stayed with them before me also with a visitor visa. The friends we stayed with are mutual friends. Now me and my fiance are planing to sned our petition vor the fiance visa soon. Do u think this will cause problems? Since they do background checks and so on.

what i mean is do they see that someone else has stayed there too....looks kind of weird i must say

or do they just check if i overstayed my visa

You seem to have a concern but it isn't explained well enough to understand the question. Could you provide a little more background?

The short answer is that if you didn't overstay your I-94 expiration date and otherwise qualify, the fact that two visitors visited the same US family, is of no consequence. Why did you think it would be? I assume there's something missing here.

Now im just worried they might see she stayed there and then i stayed there and assume we were working or whatever. Which we were not. Im just scared i get in trouble or they do.

Is there something about the place you stayed that would cause such a concern? Please clarify.

Its a normal house, if thats what u mean. But the family had au-pairs through an agency years ago. But we just stayed there. Thats what im concerned about. That they will see it during background check and assume i worked there too.

If the assumption would be untrue, then you would be able to explain and or document the truth. If it is true, you'll have to deal with the truth.

USCIS only cares about if you and your fiance met within 2 years and you 2 are free to marry, they don't care about what addresss you stayed at with a B VISA.... you might want to include something for your interview...
