Now What?

I just received the NOA2 approval notice! Now my case is being sent to the NVC. My case is going to be sent to the consulate in Costa Rica for the interview, but is there anything that I need to do while my case is in the NVC? Are there fees to be paid before my case goes on to Costa Rica? How long does a case that is supposed to be sent out of the country typically spend in the NVC? What happens now?! I am totally lost!

Yes, you have to pay an Affidavit of Support or (AOS) and Immigrant Visa (IV) bill. The AOS is $70 and the IV is $400. If you get all your documents from your foreign spouse and you are prepared you can fly through the NVC. Someone just made it through the NVC this month in 11 days. Also make sure your spouse sends you orginals of the documents sent here:
