Hello Everyone,

I am 18 yr student on F1 status here. My mother just got green card through consular processing in India. My half brother is a US citizen and he filed for my mother. My half brother and I have same mother. My mother wants to file for green card for me . And since I am already in US on F1 (student) visa. I will apply for AOS (adjustment of status). I have following question.

1) What processing time will apply for me to get a green card?

As per INS, there are two processing time.

One for consular processing which may take 8-9 years . I have attached copy of latest copy visa bulletin.

Second for AOS processing time which are based on one of the four regional service center. such as vermont, california, texas and Nebrasaka. This processing time is usually 3-4 years. I have attached a copy of latest vermont processing time.

PLS HELP ME IF YOU KNOW WHICH PROCESSING TIME WILL APPLY IN MY CASE ?

Thanks

Chirag
