Departing at Manila

Good Morning Everyone,

I have heard about harassment at the airport from the airport security staff.

Mostly from those who travel alone but not if they are with someone. Like me for example...

Does anyone have any stories they are willing to share?

hi, I traveled alone and I didn't have any single problem at all airports I've stopped. I even printed my boarding pass myself the night before my flights and I didn't have a problem about that. Hope you'll have no problem too... Have a safe and happy trip...

Me too i traveled alone last december, in my final inspection before boarding it happen that my dental kit was in a pouch but the guy told me that i need to put it in a Ziploc or else there going to confiscate my stuff and i can get the Ziploc from the main entrance ( i'm using PAL) and there's a bunch of people in line after me, but i'm glad that he found 1 at the counter close to him and he gave it me hhhhmmmm how nice... i really understand that's there JOB!!! Excellent...

A lot of this is not "harrassment." A lot of this is for security POST 9/11 ANti- terrorism procedures. Any Airliner destined to the US and other places including South Korea follow certain rules and are strict. These seem to be garden-variety procedures that the Airport in Manila and Airports in the US follow. My friend got her nail clippers confiscated in Seoul. ANyway I have been thru MNL lots of times and I do not mind the extra security, I actually was impressed.
