Hey! I noticed the old thread is closed and needed some advice! Can we start this new thread?

Ok, I got this email today:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Our record indicates that we did receive the case file and packet mailed to applicant dated 28 January 2009 via regular mail.

Regards,

Immigrant Visa Unit

Islamabad, Pakistan

So, how long does "regular" mail take and whyyyyyyyyy did they send it regular mail? :crying:

I started a new thread for Islamabad today. The mail is usually within one week and if you have not heard from them in one week contact them once again. Good luck.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.
