Hello everyone,i think i asked this before\ but i would be calling South Fl Philipine Consulate regarding this matter but i'd like to hear

replies from VJ.Anyway,my concern is,daughter's passport is about to expired on Feb 5th and son is Oct 14,2009-We're planning to apply our AOS this coming March.

According to RP Consulate here in Florida,it will takes 8-12 weeks before we actually receive the new passport.

1.Could we just just go ahead and apply the AOS using

the expired passport and use the new passport later during our biometrics or interview?Would there be a problem?

2.What if it's time for interview and son's passport is almost expired, what would be the concern there?-since renewal of passport takes forever

Hope someone could give me some positive feedback or at least a hint..Thanks

As long as you apply while both passports are valid, everything is OK. But if you wait until after the first one expires, then it could be a problem and you might as well wait until her new one arrives. As to your son's, you have plenty of time to get a new one before there will be an interview. It is not necessary to wait until the old one expires, and you might as well apply for both new ones at once.
