Hi, I am about to file for my AOS but confused about the Check issuance thing! I'm filing AP and EAD concurrently with my AOS but confused because of what Ive read, it states

Payment(s) as required by USCIS. Be sure to include the payment for both the I-485 and the biometrics fee*. Use a money order so you can track the payment. If a personal check is allowed, use that instead.

1,010 dollars is ok but am i required to issue separate checks? thanks a lot

One cheque for $1,010 is fine. I used personal cheque as well for the amount of $1,010 and it was accepted. It really depends on the person who's working in your applications. If you are wirting a cover of letter ..just don't forget to write in the fee amount that biometric fee is included...i.e payment in the amount of $1,010 (application fee + biometric fee)

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)
