I have sent them a police clearance (fiche anthropometrique) and extrait du casier judiciaire twice but they sent another letter requesting them again. I have lived in Morrocco at the same adress since the day i was born till 2003 then lived in the US for 4yrs then came back to Morocco. they said they needed fiche anthropometrique and extrait du casier judiciare from the place of residence and that is what i sent them. and now they're requesting them again.

is anybody here applying from Morocco?? What police clearance did you have to send? cuz i dont know what else to send them, i belive those are the only police and court records we can get from here and i have no criminal history or anything on them. so i really dont know why they keep requesting them.

Hi d mx 08,

I am having the same situation with NVC now too. My wife got an extrait de la fiche anthropometrique from Rabat that we sent in with her packet. A lady at the NVC says we need to send in a fiche anthropometrique. She is saying the one we sent in is for non-Moroccan citizens, however when you read the English translation on the back it states it is delivered solely to Moroccan citizens. My wife went to the local police station in her home town and requested her police record, she again got the extrait de la fiche anthropometrique. The police there say that is the only one they give out. So I am having the NVC relook at the police record we sent in originally. In the mean time I am sending in the casier judiciare and the new police record. I hope this gets straightened out soon so we can head off to the interview at the consulate in Casa.

I called them and spoke with an operator, he couldnt tell me what was wrong with the police certificate that we sent. But i did explain to him that it's the only police certificate that we can get from here. So he said he was gonna put the case on review and for me to call back in 15 business days to see what they decided. At the mean time i also got an other extrait de la fiche anthropometrique and a casier judiciaire and i sent them to my wife so she can send them to NVC. I also included a letter explaining that l'extrait de la fiche anthropometrique is the only document they give out at the central police station and that it is only delivered to Moroccans.

I have one more week to wait before i call and see what they decided to do. Hopefully we will hear something good soon!!

God bless!!

Definetly keep us posted on this. I explained the situation that it is the only police record they get for citizens of morocco and they put my case on review and I also sent them new police and court records. They received them 11 February and said to give them 2 weeks for a decision. Hopefully we get some good news on this.

Hi , we are at the same stage (collecting required papers for DS320 ..) and the beneficiary is a moroccan national

when I called NVC they say for Morocco you need ..

- fiche anthopometrique (from where beneficiary got la carte nationale) original + translation

- casier judiciaire (from the city where beneficiary was born) original+translation

Keep in mind that "la fiche anthropometrique " had a validity date of 3 months , so

Maybe they want a recent fiche anthropometrique because of the 3 months validity ?

other than that, I don't see what else they need (since you said you lived in same place all your life except fo 4 years in USA but they don't require police record if it were USA .)

In our case , we also need a police record from Canada, the beneficiary studied in Canada for 2 years ,

and for that we need a police record , and it is not straightforward

the Canadians say , if you are not living in Canada, go to a local police office and get finger prints and send them to them with fees ..

. we went to the moroccan local office and they say NO WAY Morocco doesn't give fingerprints .. to citizens

(only from agency to agency ..and officially)

Right now we are trying the canadian embassy in Rabat..otherwise .. it is a cunundrum to which we don't have a clear solution (other than write

an affidavit and hope they will understand .. that we can't get it ..)

has anyone had similar situation and what was the solution ?

Thanks

I called today and they said that they accepted the police papers we sent  but, they said they're still waiting for the affidavit of support, that is weird cuz i know my wife sent those months ago and they didnt even request them on the rfe they sent last time. i told the operator that and she said that they hadnt got them. this is great, just added more weeks to the process :crying:

aurumium if the moroccan police station say they only give fingerprints from agency to agency and officially, ask them what u need to do for them to do that.. i say to have the canadians send u a writen request for the finger prints with an adress where they should be sent to and take that to the police station in morocco. u will probably need to also give them a stamped envelop along with that and a fee. i know how frustrating all this is. i hope all works out for u and everybody else.

I called again tonight and spoke with a different operator, I asked if there might have been a mistake or if the AOS papers sent by my wife had got lost or something. She said that the case is being looked at for completion, that the police papers were reviewed and accepted and that we dont need to send anything else. I dont know why the other lady said they still hadn't got the affidavit of support. That was crazy!! But we're glad its finally over!! ALHAMDULILLAH!!! Hopefully it wont be too long till the case is completed and transfered to Casablanca.
