My question is about an Adjustment of Status. I am a Canadian Citizen. I came to the states 1995 with my parents and was admitted with a TD. I went to school here and pretty much grew up here. Me and my husband met 2001 and got married 2002. We applied for I-130 after we got married and then my husband was stationed in Germany 2003, so we moved there and lived on the base. 2004, I-130 was approved. We tried so hard for USCIS to mail us our approval letter to our APO Address but they wouldn't do it. January 2008 we moved back here in the states. We didn't get a VISA bec. didn't think I would need one bec. I'm a Canadian Citizen, but when Officer at the airport stamped my passport, he put C-1. I didn't really pay attention to the C-1 bec. I didn't know what it was. Plus, I wasn't transiting to another country and didn't have another ticket to go somewhere else, so I didn't really pay attention to it. We applied I-485, June 2008. EAD was approved Oct. 2008 and received Interview letter Nov. 2008 and Interview on January 2009. I looked around and researched about C-1 and its saying that C-1 not eligible for Adjustment of Status...is this true? or my situation is different since I'm an immediate relative?? Please give me advice on what to do. I'm worried that our AOS would get denied."

And I'm not a Crew Member....I also got advice from a lawyer and he said it could be done. I just want to know what you all think and what advice you can give me...Thanks!

don't stress too much about it..

I was reading what the C-1 stamp is... and its for TRANSIT..

sometimes people gets B-1 stamps if its for business trip...

any overstay would be forgiven to an USC spouse..

:)

Well, today was my interview and it was in Atlanta. I was soo stressed out and worried for nothing. The lady who interviewed us was very nice. She didn't even look at all the paper work that I brought with me. The only thing she asked for was my passport and asked me questions from the I-485 form. And that was it. I was APPROVED!!! I'm sooo happy!!! It's finally OVER!! :D

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)
