Dear all,

I had my AOS interview in November. We were asked to send in more information and we did. But we moved in March. I thought any correspondence would just be redirected to my new address -- like my bank letters. Reading the site, I realize that I should have let the USCIS know I'd changed my address.

I've just filled in the address change forms and will give them to the USCIS when i go to an info pass appointment i set up. I've set up the appointment to find out about my case. Could the reason I've heard nothing be that they won't redirect my mail?

Mail from the USCIS will not be forwarded by the post office. You must inform the USCIS of your new address directly. The address change form (AR-11) must be sent to the following address:

U.S Department of Homeland Security

Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration

Change of Address

PO Box 7134

London, KY 40742-7134

I would think that they won't accept the form at your infopass appointment and that they will just tell you to send it in. They should, however, be able to tell you if your green card was already sent out. If it was, then you will probably have to file for a replacement.
