Hello Fellow Vj's

Good day to ya'll. We're still waiting on my NOA2 approval for CR1 applications, but in preparation for my interview, i'd like to ask if it's okay to be with husband? what makes it different? is there any advantages or disadvantages? knowing my husband is here with me right now waiting for my visa to be approved, definitely he wants to come with me during my interview is it advisable or better to do it on my own and let him stay in the hotel.

Thank you and Happy New Year once again...

I think it would be fine bringing your husband on the day of the interview for additional support.

What I noticed when I was there for my interview last Friday, Jan 9, 2009 was that fiances/husband are allowed to be with the beneficiary within the premises if they show a valid ID so that they could get inside. Since they really don't have any appointment there but just to be with the beneficiary on her big day. They could be with the beneficiary upon the pre-screening but on the CO interview, they are not allowed to get inside. Only the beneficiaries are allowed to get in the room. I met someone there who brought her fiance with her but he wasn't allowed to get inside during the CO interview.

Hope I had helped... :innocent:

I have heard both ways, either the fiance is allowed on the CO interview, or not. I think it depends on the CO, etc. My wife's friend from work is going to Manila next week to be with his fiancee, and he hopes to be by her side the whole time.

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."
