I went to Social Security Administration this morning and unfortunately wasn't allowed to apply for ssn since my I-94 is exactly 14 days before the expiry date. They told me to comeback if I already have the Immigration docs after my AOS. We're gonna file my AOS next week. Just wanna be prepared in some of the requirements. Do you think tax returns will be necessary for affidavit of support and proof of marriage? my husband told me that my ssn is required for him to put me as beneficiary in his income tax returns while I wont have my ssn until I get my greencard..any answers will be appreciated..good day to all!!!

If your husband wants to file his taxes early and you don't have your SSN yet, you will submit the form W-7 together with his tax filing and IRS will issue you an ITIN. Read here for more details.
