Hello VJ'ers!!!!

I have an important question:

My fiancee is going to take her medical appointment on Monday Jan 12, 2009. We have our case number and a letter from the NVC stating the case will be forwarded to the USEM within a week. And we should be able to get our interview date this week. But I need to know if definite that she needs to have that letter from the USEM with the case #? Will they turn her away if she does not have that letter. Can she take her Case#, NOA2, passport and other things and still succeed in getting the medical appointment? Or will they turn her away for not having the packet letter because she has not received it yet?

I have heard many have taken their medical without getting the letter from the USEM, if so, what did you say to the guard at the door?

Thanks for your help!

my fiance had our nvc letter since nov 26th and stated they'll forward it within a week but they didn't... i think the best thing is to wait for your packet 3...it will be a hassle free...

hi. my hubby didn't wait for his letter from the USE manila and plus he never got it. now he is in seattle here with me. when i talked to grace from the immigrant section US embassy manila, she told me to print out the appointment letter sent by the NVC to my email and that is what my hubby should bring with him to the medical appointment.

but to be sure, you can just wait for the letter from the USEM. Just relax you guys are almost there. God bless always.

She will need the letter from the embassy, her passport and pictures and either the D-156 or the D-156 K.

When I went there before, the guard is very strict and will not allow others without the paper and they will not allow anybody exempt for the person who will have their medical exam taken.

I suggest that you wait.

Good Luck in processing your papers!!
