Copy of Packet Sent to USCIS

I have noticed in many places it says to make a copy of the packet sent to the USCIS. I had some questions about this.

Does my fiance need to have this with her during her trip to the embassy? If so, why does she need it if it is being sent overseas anyway? Just for reference?

Do I need copies of our proof of our relationship to be included in this complete copy?

It seems redundant for her to have the complete packet and then for me to recopy proof and have her bring two sets of proof.

Currently I have a copy for her but is it alright for me to separate the proof from the copy and put it in a separate folder for her or is there some reason the packet has to be exactly like the one I sent to USCIS?

It would seem a lot easier and less confusing for her if the proof was in a separate folder that she could just give to the embassy.

Thank you

You mate having a copy of the packet is mainly for reference. Studying the G325A for info like your fathers name. Things related to your education, employment, if applicable exwifes name and when divorced etc.

Have her check out the entire packet and go over things together. COs get questions from there!

Give her originals of EVERYTHING!

Ok cool. So she doesn't have to bring it to the embassy. Very good. Thank you so much!
