Double Citizenship

I am hoping to get a Greek passport. I've done all the paperwork, my parents registered me in Greece as their child (I was not born there) and I've filled out papers with the appropriate consulate that I am not married. So, I'd like to go ahead and get it while the gettin' is good and have the EC as part of my oyster too.

But this will mean I'll have both a Canadian and a Greek passport when I apply for my VISA. Does anyone know if this will be a problem? Would it be better to wait until the process is over before I go get my other passport, and can I even do that?

Just thought maybe there was someone else out there with dual citizenship, and perhaps you've already filled out all the forms, experienced trouble etc.

If it will mean a big hassle, I won't bother.

I have a British pasport and a Canadian one. My mom was born in Scotland and so I got my British pasport, although I was born in Canada. I have had my British passport since I was little, and as of yet no problems.

Yup, me too. I have my british passport as well. You shouldn't have a problem.

There was a member on here who once had 6 citizenships and 6 passports. She just picked one for her K1 to go into.
