Hey folks when time isnt a concern who is the best shipper to use? I have three boxes each weighing 50 pounds plus that I would like to send to our family in the philippines. Its a set of books and there isnt a time crunch on them, I mean if it took 2 months thats fine. Any suggestions on which companies are reliable and affordable??? Thanks much

I use FOREX but technically you are in California, you have alot of company options. I am from Texas, so they have to ship from TX to CALI, then to PHILS. California is alot quicker to get to program called BALIKBAYAN box and weights doesnt matter, its the size of 60 inches around. Bigger box cost more of course but an average box is 60 inches around, the rules of the weight, if it doesnt rip the box and make bulky looking shape, then ur good! Goodluck, all you have to do i slook for Filipino store/market in CALI and they will tell you the price- avg is $ 85-120 per box.

What part of California? If you are in northern California, then LBC has the best price. We used them twice, and had no problems.

In SoCal, you can also use Forex.

JUst saw a post saying they got ripped off using FASTPACK. Opened their box and took things. I've always used Forex and so far no proplems. $80 for the BIG one no weight limitation.
