Hi,

My fiancee is calling the "909" number in the Philippines and she cannot get through. She is told that she does not have access to that number.

Does anyone know how to call the 909-101-7878 number from within the Philippines?

Just asking. Did you dial 1-909 or simply 909 as the latter won't work?

and calling 1-909 works only for PLDT lines not with Globe or Bayan tell lines

She is using a Globe phone network, so neither way works for her.

yes no other network will work except PLDT.. before i used to call using globe network but it didn't work! i go around manila to find a pldt call center but they dont have the operator now so they advised to used a pldt residential line with IDD of course..

it would be much better if your fiance from the states will call to confirm the interview, it will be much cheaper and it will be a lot faster they'll send to your email right away the confirmation..

goodluck for us and happy new year!

TELL YOUR FIANCEE DIAL 1-909-101-7878.

I USE MY PLDT LANDLINE AND IT IS OKAY.

I called and scheduled interview from here in the US, alot easier and cheaper.....I think faster also.

How is it cheaper to call from the US? Doesn't it cost $18.00? I would think it's cheaper calling from the Phils unless you are put on hold forever and the cost exceeds $18.00. Just curious. Thanks for the help!

that number (1-909...) only works in the Philippines. It is cheaper to call from the Philippines. One has to use a post paid (not prepaid) smart cellular phone that has IDD and NDD. Or a PLDT landline post pai that has IDD or NDD.
