Hi,

Is there anyone who have been approved and you are waiting for US Embassy to contact you???? I know that it is just a little time again, and that we have come sooooooooooooooooooooooo farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. But I think I am running out of patience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will call US Embassy again tomorrow. Well as I told my husband today just 2 more months.... Even if the last 2 months feel like forever. :star:

Thank you, I was feeling bad because every time I call they take my name and it has gotten to where they say Mrs Rhoades you called yesterday and we told you to call at the end of the week. I was wondering since these we the people who had to set up my interview date and approval may be I should not call so often. But I will keep caling, at least they will see that I am intrested in my case right.:dance::dance::dance:

Send a fax to the Embassy and request that they open a provisional file for your husband. Fax the NOA2 and the letter from the NVC noting that the case will be forwarded to the Embassy. This will have your case number on it.

You can also complete the DS230, DS156, DS156K, the Affidavit of Support (134 i think) and mail those to the Embassy with a letter stating that you have your Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate (beneficiary), Tax Documents, Employment Letter, Police Certificate (basically the same documents you would need for a CR1/IR1)

I did this and was able to get an interview date without waiting for the Packet 3.

Be sure to include the Case Number on everything.

Best of Luck to you!!

It took me a month to receive packet 3. I sent it right away and received interview date within a week. I called them a couple of times and each time they said that they had sent me the packet 3 but I still had to wait a while to receive it.
