Question on Form DS-156 re communicable disease

I've gone to medical exam last Dec 22 and just waiting for the results on Jan 12 (took us longer coz of the holidays I think). But whatever the results will be I'm already preparing for the requirements for my visa interview on Jan 20...

I just have another question.. In answering Form DS-156, for the question, "Have you ever been afflicted with a communicable disease of public health significance or a dangerous physical or mental disorder, or ever been a drug abuser or addict?", do I put YES because I have had minimal PTB 8 years ago? Do they have a list of illnesses that fall under this question's category? If yes, would this pose a problem on the interview?

Thanks so much..

did you tell them you had PTB at your SLEC medical? Did they do a sputum test? Or take more than one Xray.

I think she doesn't know yet.. since doesn't have the results yet.. I hope your xray is clear.. so you won't have to do a sputum test..

Actually that's the same question I have..Hope someone can answer us here..

If you have a scar on your lungs most probably you will undergo to a sputum test.. if not you're ok..
