can someone please help me and guide me through what I am doing wrong. I am trying to put up the info about our journey so far (like i see on so many posts people make) and don't know how to do it. Also I can't get a picture up either. It would just make me feel better to be able to see that also. Thanks! Cheryl

Well the best I can tell you is that you can put your information in the signature box on your my controls page. Go to my controls and under personal profile go to edit signature then put in what you want and center/align as you want.

As for the photo, I just followed the directions on the my controls using the Personal profile/photo option. I don't think that's going to help you much, but I gave it a go. Sorry...

And so he did what countless punk-rock songs had told him to do so many times before: he lived his life

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Good luck out there!

Just do my controls or my assistant and you can add whatever you want to your "signature". When I wanted to add pictures they were too big so Meriem was kind enough to resize them for me so they fit... good luck.

  • I think the "picture" you are talking about is what is usually called an "avatar" here.
To upload one of your own, scroll down after clicking
HERE.
(Don't worry, It will open it in a new window for you.)
Then, click "Browse" and look for the picture you want (in the files on your computer), pick one and click OK, then click on the button at the bottom that says "Update Avatar".
To include your journey information so people see it at the bottom of everything you write, click HERE,
then type it all in the big box area (before or after whatever you already have in there, if anything), then click on the button at the bottom that says "Update my Signature".
Good luck.

Thanks so much for your help. It actually worked this time. I tried it many times before and it didn't work. I truly appreciate your help.
