Hello VJ community,

My finance needed further testing for TB at St. Lukes, so they had her take a sputum test, after a two month wait for the results we were told to call back when the results were in, so we called back and they told us they were in and she was told to come back to Manila. When she got there however, they told her that they couldn't give her the results and that they would forward them to the embassy, this seemed a little odd to us at the time. She did finish her medical exam and they did reschedule her a new appointment date though.

Our question is, Is there anyone with a similar situation to ours, who can shed some light on this? Why couldn't they just read the results to her? Any help you could give would be more than appreciated.

Thanks,

Ben

i guess since st. luke's advised her to come back then it means that she's negative from the culture & she can proceed to the interview at the embassy at the date that st. luke's gave her. they don't really give out the results, they will be forwarding it to the embassy. the only thing that they will give her is a copy of her immunization record.

Thanks,

Looks like she's "good to go" after she gets thru the interview. St. Lukes doesn't tell anyone they passed. They just hand them the CXR and the DS 3025 which is a sign they passed.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

My Fiance went for her medical on the same day and also was told to come back for further TB testing. She was told she had to come back on 7 Jan 09. was that the same day for you? Do they have to bring any paper work with them and if so what?

How long will it take for the results to come back after they take the test?

How long will the interview be from the time the test do come back?

Any ideas would be of great help as we really want to try and get some sort of time line down.
