MY HUSBAND IS A CITIZEN OF THE PHILIPPINES AND HAS LIVED HERE SINCE JUNE 1987. WHEN MY HUSBAND WAS STILL LEGAL HE WAS ABLE TO OBTAIN A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND SOCIAL SECURITY CARD THREW LULAC. THEN LULAC LOST THERE CASE AND MY HUSBAND BECAME OUT OF STATUS. IN OCTOBER 1999 I HAD MET MY HUSBAND WE DATED FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS THEN IN (2001) WE ENDED UP IN OUR FIRST HEATED ARGUMENT WORDS WERE EXCHANGED AND I GUESS WE WERE A LITTLE TO LOUD THAT THE NEIGHBOR CALLED THE POLICE. THE POLICE CAME AND MY HUSBAND AT THE TIME BOYFRIEND WOULDN'T KEEP HIS MOUTH CLOSED SO THE POLICE TOOK HIM TO JAIL. THAT NIGHT I SPOKE WITH THE OFFICER AT THE STATION TO TRY 2 GET HIM OUT OF JAIL AND HE TOLD ME THAT HE WAS NOT CHARGED WITH NOTHING BUT NOW HAS AN IMMIGRATION HOLD ON HIM ...I WAS LIKE WHAT IN THE WORLD DOES THAT MEAN? HE EXPLAINED TO ME THAT HE WAS GOING TO GO TO IMMIGRATION DETENTION CENTER.I WAS NEW TO THIS CAUSE HE NEVER MENTIONED THIS 2 ME BEFORE!!!! HE WAS ASHAMED 2 TELL ME I GUESS . SO I WENT TO VISIT HIM FOR TWO WEEKS . BY THE END OF HIS 2 WEEKS STAY IN INS JAIL I WAS ABLE TO GET HIM BAILED OUT FOR ONLY 1,700. SO SHORTLY AFTER I BAILED HIM OUT HE WAS ORDERED TO GO THREW DEPORTATION HEARINGS. WE ENDED UP GETTING MARRIED LATER MARCH 28, 2002 AFTER DATING FOR 3 YEARS .IN 2004 WE HAD OUR FIRST CHILD.WE ATTENDED DEPORTATION HEARINGS FROM NOVEMBER 2001 TO 2007 NOTHING WAS EVEN BROUGHT UP ABOUT THE ARGUMENT IN 2001 CAUSE THERE WAS NO CHARGES . THEN THE COURT WERE FOCUSING ON IF MY HUSBAND WAS ABLE TO ADJUST HIS STATUS NOT HAVING HIS I-94 STAMPED AT HIS LAST ENTRY ..(WELL TO LONG OF A STORY!!!) BUT WE WERE ABLE TO FILE THE I-130 THAT ENDED UP GETTING APPROVED.SO FINALLY IN 2007 THE JUDGE MADE HER DECISION TO THROW OUT MY HUSBANDS CASE OUT OF THE COURT SO HE COULD GO AND FILE ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS AT INS SERVICE CENTER (LOS ANGELES). SO IN DECEMBER 2007 WE FILED FOR ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS COMPLETED ALL THE FORMS FEES FINGER PRINTS MEDICAL AND ALL THE GOOD STUFF. WE GOT OUR OUR INTERVIEW APRIL 2008 MY HUSBAND HAD TO ANSWER MANY QUESTIONS AND THE OFFICER SAID THAT SHE WOULD SUMMIT MY HUSBANDS FINGERPRINTS TO ICE AND AS SOON AS SHE GETS THE RESULTS WE SHOULD HERE BACK FROM HER SOON. SO THREE MONTHS GO BY AND IT'S JULY 2008 WE DIDNT HEAR NOTHING BACK FROM HER SO WE MAKE A INFOPASS . WE THOUGHT WE GOT LUCKY CAUSE WE WERE CALLED IN BY A SUPERVISOR, THE SUPERVISOR SAID MY HUSBAND FINGER PRINTS FROM ICE WERE GOOD, THEN SHE LOOKED OVER MY HUSBANDS CASE AND FOR SOME REASON SHE COULD FIND OUR I-864 SO SHE ASKED THAT WE SUMMIT ANOTHER ONE WITHIN 30 DAYS, AND SENT IT TO HER DIRECTLY THREW MAIL .AND SO WE DID ASAP ALONG WITH THE INCOME TAXES. I SENT THESE TO HER THREW CERTIFIED MAIL ALONG WITH A VERY NICE LETTER REMINDING HER OF WHAT TOOK PLACE THAT DAY. SINCE THEN WE HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING FROM INS!!! SO ACTUALLY IT HAS BEEN ONE YEAR THIS MONTH SINCE WE FILED THE I-485 (I GUESS OUR I-485 IS AT TEXAS SERVICE CENTER WHICH DOESN'T SHOW FAMILY BASED PROCESS DATES FOR SOME ODD REASON) . IS THIS NORMAL??? MY HUSBAND HASN'T BEEN BACK TO HIS COUNTRY SINCE 1986 AND IS DEPRESSED I THINK WHEN X-MAS COMES EVERY YEAR!!! WHAT SHOULD WE DO WE DON'T HAVE A LAWYER ANYMORE SINCE OUR I-485 INTERVEIW CAUSE WE ARE JUST WAITING FOR HIS GREEN CARD !! MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN PAYING HIS TAXES 4 MANY YEARS NOW AND HAS MAINTAINED A GOOD EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND AND THANK GOSH INS CAN SEE THAT!!! YEAH RIGHT LOL!!!<3 ANY ADVICE??

Firstly a point of kind advice, stop using all capital letters, I the online community all CAPITAL letters is a form of SHOUTING!

I would do another info pass appointment, and have another I-864 prepared and bring it to the interview.

Also look up your I-485 case number on USCIS.GOV to find out status.
