I hear people talk about the interview for AOS, but isn't it the interview for I-130?? I'm a little confused, I thought there weren't any interviews for EAD and AOS approval and that the actual interview is for the greencard? Is that correct? Or are there 2 interviews?

I'm also amazed how fast people are getting approved for their green card... For some reason I thought that after you get approved for AOS and you get your EAD card that it will take another year, two years, before you would get your actual green card.... I noticed people are getting it around 5 months after they send in the AOS package. This is great!!

So, after you get the stamp, this will be for a 2 year permanent residency? Then after the 2 years, what happens then? You get another interview and get a 10 year residency? At what point can you apply for dual citizenship?

If someone can confirm or correct my statements... Thanks!

Its only one interview during the AOS process..

It all depends.. I've noticed some people that adjusted from a K-1 visa, they're cases get transferred to the CSC and they get approved without and interview..

If your marriage is less than 2 years... you get a conditional permanent resident card valid for 2 years.. after that.. 90 days before the expiration date on the card you must lift conditions.. that said... it means that you gotta send the I-751 form. Some people get interviewed again... some don't ..it all depends...

You can apply for citizenship 3 years after you have been a permanent resident..
