Biometrics Photos

Kind of a weird question... I read in one of the threads that you need to take your earrings out for the biometrics photos. Do you have to show your ears, or just not have earrings visible? I ask because I have an unusual earring that I don't/have never taken out, and need to be prepared if I need to do so. I have medium length hair that I normally wear covering my ears, so they wouldn't see it unless I have to show my ears.

Well, when I took my photos during the biometric appointment, I do need to lift up my ears to show both ears. Also make sure not to wear turtle neck, since someone who works at the local immigration office told me that it is better not to cover the neck when taking pictures.

As for the earrings, if it is those hoops kind or big hanging earrings which is obviously be seen, they might ask you to take it off.
