Hey!!

I'm a little confused... maybe someone can help me?!?!

On Dec. 4th, 2008, my case was transfered to the California Service Center. I just checked my status online and this is what appears now:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case has been received from the State Department with a request we review it.

On December 10, 2008, a USCIS office received this case from the State Department with a request that we review it. We will notify you when we complete our review, or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. To receive e-mail updates, follow the link below to register.

I'm wondering... does this mean that they are just reviewing it at CSC??? Does everyone get this when it is sent to CSC??

Is this bad newsss???

Any help would be great!

Hello...Yeah we are in the same situation, mine also was been transferred to CSC since september and until now when i checked it online, its says..pending where it was transferred and also we will notify you etc, etc...Most of the members here who've case was been transferred chances are we aint got to go for interview, which is good news..hopefully everything is going smoothly with the process.

Yea, when mine was transfered to CSC, my status originally said:

Current Status: Case Transfered to Another Office for Processing

On December 4, 2008, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow the instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 to update your address. You can use our processing dates to estimate when your case may be processed by following the link below. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case by registering in the link below.

But the new status is a little different. Just wondering if anyone has received my most recent status.. and what does it mean???
