Trying to learn tagalog, but having lots of trouble. I want to get a book thats entirely in tagalog, but all i can find are books that are MOSTLY in english with some tagalog words here and there. Can anyone recommend a tagalog book thats a story where in the book people talk to each other alot. (im not looking for a "how to speak tagalog book", Im looking for a book, preferably fiction thats contemporary and entirely in tagalog. Preferably a book that i can buy on amazon. Help! Thanks.

look for "panitikan" books or philippine literature books.

THere's a book about "pagong at kuneho" - turtle and the rabbit, pagong at ang matsing - turtle and the monkey.

If you want , you can get books of about Jose Rizal or books written by him translated in tagalog. here is one example

BUHAY at GInawa ni Dr. Jose Rizal
