how do i know when my visa application has been touched? and also will the immirgration me or my american fiance if additional info is needed and if additional info is needed does it take a lot longer to process the visa?

thanks

shane (ireland)

If you have your case number, then you can register for an account on USCIS.gov and you will able to see your 'last updated' date. You can get your case number from your NOA2 or the back of the cashed cheque.

If any additional info is needed they will send a Request for Evidence (RFE) to the petitioner. Depending on how long it takes for you to gather the information requested and to send back to USCIS may impact on approval date. They will put your case on hold until they receive the information.

have you registered ur case to USCIS site?

(find "Register" on the left side)

Once ur registered, then you can check the date (not necessarily everyday, but it is intriguing to do so!), if it changes from the last time you saw it, means your case has been touched.
