SO 3 MONTHS LATER WE STILL DIDN'T HEAR ANYTHING FROM INS SO MY HUSBAND AND I DID A INFO PASS TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH THE I-485 . THE SUPERVISOR INS OFFICER TOLD US THAT MY HUSBAND PASSED THE BACKGROUND CHECK BUT SHE COULDN'T FIND THE AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT SO SHE ASKED IF I COULD COMPLETE THE I-485 AND SUMMIT THE INCOME TAXES ALONG WITH IT AND RETURN IT WITHIN 30 DAYS. SO I DID WITHIN 2 WEEKS I THEN SENT IT THREW CERTIFIED MAIL ALONG WITH A VERY POLITE LETTER REMINDING HER WHAT WE HAD SPOKEN ABOUT THAT DAY .

That was ridiculous. It's been a year now that your husband applied for his AOS. When you talked to the INS supervisor, she told you to submit the new application along with affidavit of support? How come they did not ask anything from you guys when your husband papers were still on process? They should send you a RFE, Request For Evidence for affidavit of support. Did you contact the USCIS regarding this matter? Nakakainis sila pag ganyan sila. You should make an infopass again, I believe just to make sure that your husband papers are still on them. Did you receive anything like NOA for your I-485 since you file it for the second time? You need to bother them and ask them what happens to your husband's application for his AOS? Tawagan mo sila!!!!Goodluck

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

We only filed the I-485 once ...but when my husband and i spoke to the immigration supervisor (which was filipina so we thought she would really help us lol) she had looked threw my husbands immigration file and said everything looks good but she cant find the I-864, so she requested that we summit another I-864 which we did right away even no we had filed one with the I-485 before ! I asked that day also how long it will take to find out if my husband is approved or not ? She just said as soon as i receive the I-864 back I will work on it ASAP. I also asked her why has my husband case been taking so long? The INS officer mentioned that it basically sits in a warehouse till an INS officer decides to pick it up.

So I guess my only option is to make another info pass which I dread doing cause they are so rude and dont really want to help you at the Los Angeles location they will just say wait .
