I really need to go to my country for 2-3 weeks. I didnt overstay my visa. I am freaking out because i am leaving tomorrow and i dont know what to expect flying back :( what should i take with me ? what kind of question IO will ask me ? what if he refuses my re-entry ?

YOU NEED AP document IN HAND before leaving.

If not, then you WILL be considered to be abandoning the I-485 AOS process.

Happened to this F-1 AOS: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...=165251&hl=

If it is an emergency, schedule and info-pass appointment to field office and request emergency AP document.

thanks,

i already got Advance Parole but what else ? Passport, marriage certificate and... ? I really scared about flying back to usa and IO :(

Book any airline tickets using the name that is in passport. AP is needed to return to the USA. Carry a copy of marriage cert in case if a name change question.

It is as simple as that.
