Hi Bmtrrbt!!! I am from CDO.....

I am done with the CFO seminar in Cebu...

It depends if you can get it done in one day!Because it is first come first served.

In my case I get it done in one day but I arrived at St. Mary at 6:00 am

I get done at 2 pm.....

So Good Luck!

My fiance is in Bansalan near Digos not to far from Davao and she is planing on doing CFO between medical and interview. I think you have to have the visa before they give you the stamp but they do give you a certificate which you return after you get visa and show the certificate and they put stamp showing you attended. That is the way i understand it anyway. Here are some links about CFO

Manila: http://www.cfo.gov.ph/fs_manila.htm

I did my seminar in cebu. I stayed 2 nights. I flew in a day before and went to the CFO seminar at 6 am the next day. It's first come, first served basis and only 15 applicants are allowed per day. It's a one day seminar, we started the seminar at 8 am and was done at around 2-3 pm.

They will not give you the sticker yet if you don't have the visa but you can have the certificate and receipt and get the sticker in manila once you got your visa. Goodluck on your interview. :)

Those I know who did it in one day without staying overnight arrived by boat very early on the day of the seminar and went straight to CFO at 6 am and after the seminar they went home by boat too since the boat leaves at night. This is if you take the seminar in Cebu and can take the ferry overnight.

Yes you can do that. But do remember you have to go back to CFO to have your passport stickered. :)
