i got my 129 and 130 approved last week. could someone answer me questions

1. how do i procure pcc from the passport office at mumbai. i already have the pcc from the police commissioners office. how many days does it take and what papers are required for it

2. how i come to know abt my interview date from the mumbai embassy.

3. in how many days will my husband get the packet 3 and 4 after the approval email.

Congrats on the approval.

1. As far as I know (and how I got the PCC) - Just go to the Passport office and fill the form for new passport, except, it has an option in the beginning that you are applying for a Police Clearance and not new passport. Just read the instructions, its easy. Submit the form, passport and the fees and you will get it in a couple of days to weeks. They even have an online way of checking the status with the report number they give. Maybe a little generosity will get you the PCC sooner

2. After you fill up and return pkt 3, you will get pkt 4. You might be able to even go and collect pkt 4 after a week or so of submitting pkt 3. That will have your interview date. Thats what I did. I also called up the DOS after 4-5 days of submitting pkt 3 and they told me the interview date. So when I collected pkt 4, I knew it already.

3. Usually doesn't take long. Maybe a couple of weeks.
